Philip Lee also has extensive experience in employment litigation which equips us to provide practical and informed services to our clients.  We have a proven track record in successfully responding to and dealing with highly complex employment claims, including breaches of legislation such as the Unfair Dismissals Acts 1977-2007; the Protection of Employees (Fixed Term Work) Act 2003; the Maternity Protection Acts; the European Communities (Protection of Employees on Transfer of Undertakings) Regulations 2003; the Minimum Notice and Terms and Conditions of Employment Acts 1973-2005 and the Organisation of Working Time Act 1997.  Recently, the firm has successfully handled a number of contentious disputes centering on allegations of stress and bullying and which included personal injury dimensions.
 
Our consistent success in various employment litigation matters is bolstered by our in-depth understanding of the vast amount of employment rights and industrial relations legislation.  We regularly assist employers and employees in the interpretation and application of these statutes.

We also have experience in non-contentious employment law, ranging from the drafting employment contracts for various levels of personnel and the drafting of consultancy service contracts and employment policies, to advising on the maintenance of HR records including ‘declarations of interests’ and the provision of negotiation skills during industrial relations or other discussions.
